Returns
Returns are accepted on most parts and accessories that are unused and with the original packaging within 30 days of delivery. To initiate a return email sales@operationparts.com prior to any return, refund, or exchange to receive an RMA number.
Returns on firearms are only accepted before the firearm is transferred to the purchaser and must be completed within 30 days of delivery. A 10% restocking fee will be assessed for any firearms returned due to a failed background check. Any returned items must be received by us no later than 30 days from the date you received the order, otherwise a 20% restocking fee will apply. Shipping charges are not refundable and in the event that the order shipped for free the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund issued.
All sales are final for NFA items, tools, “CLOSEOUT” products, any product modified at customer request such as muzzle device pin & weld, Cerakote, etc. This list may not be all inclusive, contact us with any questions regarding this policy before placing your order.
Defective products should be returned to the original manufacturer for warranty service. It is recommended that any shipments containing items for return are sent with a carrier that offers tracking numbers and full value insurance on the parcels. Operation Parts cannot be responsible for any packages that are lost while being shipped to us.
Credit will be applied to the payment method used to purchase the item. You should expect to receive your refund within 1-2 weeks of us receiving your return.
Shipping
All serialized items (guns/lowers/suppressors) on our site are required to be shipped directly to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. This would be most gun shops and some pawn shops. They will do the required background checks to transfer the firearm to you.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please note that it may take us a few days to prepare your order so delivery estimates start the day the order is shipped.
Delivery dates are not guaranteed, shipping charges will not be refunded for packages arriving later than expected. Shipping days only include business days and are from the date your order ships, not the date it’s placed. USPS delivery business days do not include Sunday or holidays. UPS delivery business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays. If you need an order by a certain date contact us and we’ll gladly help you choose the shipping option with the best chance of making it in time. USPS Ground Advantage can take up to 1-2 weeks to arrive, USPS Priority is usually 1-4 business days to most of the US. USPS Express Mail is usually 1-2 business days. UPS Ground can take up to 5 business days, depending on your location.
Example: An order placed at 5pm Eastern on a Thursday (after our noon cutoff time) will ship Friday at the earliest, selecting UPS Next Day will have the order arrive on Monday (if not a holiday), it will not arrive on Saturday.
Shipping Quote
Our website will provide shipping quotes with only your state and zip code. Just add the item to the cart and then “view cart”. You can then put in the shipping state and zip code to view all available shipping options with cost. We use UPS and USPS (for AK & HI) for shipping.
